From what I have gathered, the FDA is going to be approving the new 2025 - 26 vaccine soon but it will only be for certain groups of people.
I’m wondering if it makes sense to try and get a 24 - 25 vaccine while I still can. I got one last fall, but don’t know if it makes sense to use an “outdated” vaccine atp.
Grain of salt, but this redditor seems reasonably well informed about things going on in the vaxx industry and has been assuring people that availability probably won’t be an issue. Getting your insurance to pay for it might be another story.

I am NOT a medical professional. But I’ve heard that it’s better to get the vaccine you can, rather than wait months for the next one.
The new ones should be coming out in the next couple of weeks.🤞 Afaik a lot of pharmacies aren’t even offering the 2024/2025 shots at the moment.
Seems reasonable. I haven’t looked at what current experts are saying right now.
Yeah, he’s quoting Your Local Epidemiologist, who the guy I linked to says is fearmongering. So much fun waiting to find out!
