This was a Labour constituency up until 2010, so they’ll be feeling pretty optimistic about retaking it. Although it’s a big majority on paper, it’s exactly the sort of place that should be contributing to the big national swing.
So many recall petitions, if this is approved quickly we could be looking at a by-election in September!
