In what has been described as a “barrage of attacks on workers,” the U.S. Department of Labor under President Donald Trump is planning to overhaul dozens of rules that protect workers from exploitation and wage theft. The administration announced this month that it planned to change over 60 regulations it deems “unecessary” burdens to businesses and economic growth.
