I have been with you from your creation now to your grave. You were never really the most popular Reddit app, but you were my Reddit app. I will miss you.

    I’m using Jerboa and - no offense to the Jerboa devs because I know this is still an early product! - but it’s like downgrading from broadband to the Pony Express

    This is a very important point that people seem to gloss over here. The reddit app is crap, but the current Lemmy apps (and software) is very buggy as well. This is to be expected, but it will turn a lot of people off from switching over.

    The big difference is how it is expected to evolve. Lemmy and associated apps will only get better over next months and years. Reddit will continue to get worse and the app more bloated.
