Like instapaper or Firefox’s readability function. Something I can pitch a url too and get back a stripped down version of the article with a shareable URL. No idea if this exists.

ArchiveBox does this, you can just disable all the other archival methods if you don’t want to use them.

Edit: After looking around their repo, they had a list of similar projects and Shiori looks more like what I was looking for.
