A place to share images and art generated by artificial intelligence and similar tools. Rules: - All posts must be relevant to image generation with artificial intelligence. - Please include the name of the AI or tool used to generate your image at beginning of your post to promote searchability. Example: “[Midjourney] Picture of a lake.” - It’s not required, but we encourage you to include the prompt used to generate the image in the description of your post. - Please keep NSFW content to a minimum. Risque content is allowed, but pornographic AI art is not. There are plenty of other places to share that. - Please be nice to your fellow users.

I’ve had an obsession and fascination with AI art since Craiyon first released as Dall E Mini. Upon jumping ship to Lemmy, I thought it would be great to form a community to casually share some images I made with AI. Recently I’ve mostly been using Midjourney and Stable Diffusion. Come check the community out. Myself and a few others have posted some images already.

FAQ:

Q: Why do I get a 404?

A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.

Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?

A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn’t get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn’t actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.
