This was back before the Doomslayer by a long while. More HALO CE influenced, especially on the gold visor.
(Yes, I know the Doomslayer and the Doom Guy are one and the same, but none of that was written at the time. Also the mini isn’t influenced by the Doom Guy aside from any possible residual influence that the Doom Guy had on Master Chief’s design.)
