    Suspicious ties to the military, unlike American companies which are wholesome 100 and do not include backdoors for US intelligence.

        If you were any military, you shouldn’t like American backdoors in your gear. I guess people have already forgotten when Snowden revealed the US was spying on even its allies.

          Sure. However not everyone can make everything so if you have to buy something and if that’s got a backdoor in it, it’s probably preferable to be from an allied country. It’s all about risk mitigation.

      Are you suggesting China’s military would readily buy encryption chips from, say, Raytheon or Northrop Grumman?

      I suspect they would not.
