When they opened the door it was very loud, bright & smoky inside & decided they didn’t want to go in.
The person left the gift outside before leaving.
I’d assume the present is for whoever the party is being held for. But the person was overstimulated by the noise and light the moment he opened the door, so he just left the package there and went home. I can relate lol.

Before leaving to where? The party after all? Or if it’s to home, why leave the gift?
