The problem here is that there’s no good time to call attention to the double standard.

Do it when another nation is being aggressive and you’re being unpatriotic by drawing attention away from the clear and present danger.

Do it when there’s no war drawing attention of the nation (there will still be wars), and it’s not immediate enough for people to connect to, and they stress peace and forgiveness and that we shouldn’t be bringing up old issues that cause division.

So what’s the solution?
