Which, one on hand, I can appreciate the sentiment since I would like the power of the US government to also obliterate all the right wing dipshits. But, I also know that 1) isn’t happening 2) probably would horribly backfire even if someone tried.
The US government has shown it won’t crack down on reactionaries repeatedly, even going so far as helping them. The KKK was, for a long time, the largest terrorist organization in the world. FBI agents literally turned over freedom riders to Klansmen to torture and kill. Or like that one guy who shot and killed a nazi in Portland, OR. The cops went after him and killed him. Or cops crrating the situation for Kyle Rittenhouse to kill protestors. George Zimmerman.
The state has the apparatus to act against people it doesn’t like with impunity already. They only use it to go after leftwing causes.
