    I’m skeptical people like this could handle butchering a goat at whatever high frequency interval they would need to survive. Like weekly (??) if you aren’t eating grain?

      Abso-fucking-lutely not. I am pretty fit, no body builder or anything but no stranger to manual labor from construction to cutting down trees by hand (no motorized tools). Skinning an animal is surprisingly difficult and that is before you consider the fact you have to deal with all the shit.

        Also the psychological impact. Most people disensitivize, but I don’t think this suburbanite, regardless how chud they might be, has ever killed a mammal.

        Also, baby goats’ bleats sound exactly like a crying child, it’s extremely spine-chilling. They are even called kids in english, right?

      Not just that but then quickly prepping for preservation either smoking or salting that doesn’t just ruin it, there’s a reason beans and potatoes were staple crops for so many and it’s cuss meat preparation is a lot of work whilst just eating veggies you grow is a heck of a lot easier.
