This applies to Christmas trees too.
Yeah, I never understood the ‘make me feel special’ argument, not fully. As gifts go it feels kinda like artsy stuff (pendants, necklaces, garments, etc) but at the same time it has even less (or another kind of) … I guess social value (how that person is now seen within a group) … ?
The room ornamental value seems mute compared to potted plants.
In case that is actually the point, that it somehow looks more aesthetically pleasing without all the other plant parts, … then hitting people a little is fine, as a treat. Some plants the flowers are very pretty, but the whole plant isn’t practical to be kept indoors (e.g. roses), and they don’t necessarily flower all year round. If someone has a favourite flower or favourite colour of flower, it makes them feel special when someone thinks to buy them for them (they get a flower they love to look at for the next week, and they know that someone cares about them enough to buy them flowers, and keep the knowledge of which like).
Hitting people isn’t funny.
Edit: I guess about half of you think that hitting people is funny.
You have now been banned from https://midwest.social/c/truecomics
That’s why your BDSM parties fail.
Hitting people isn’t funny. It’s hot. 😏
Say that again when you’ve worked at an airport and handled the idiots’ stupid heavy luggage.
Me, travelling with a 7kg/15lbs trolley while my wife is 1kg/2lbs under the maximum limit I appreciate what you do for women.
I told my colleagues, I’m proposing the following new policy:
Your luggage isn’t weighed. Instead, the passengers hopeful are put up in a line. One after another, they get their luggage thrown in the face. Those who survive may board the plane.
Additionally, luggage scales will henceforth only have one reading: “If you need to weight it, it’s too heavy, idiot.”
Also, for adding the weights in both reasonable and imperial, you are the MVP of the day.
Tom and Jerry: bet
Violence solves all of our problems
Yes it is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slapstick
Violence is never the answer. Violence is the question. And the answer is yes.
