Losing long time friends over their support for American “Democrats”. “Trump Bad” as a singular political personality is so powerful that it enables endorsement of genocide.
People had some kind of plausible deniability in supporting Biden. The Trump derangement syndrome was in full effect. They had to “Save the Democracy” etc. Now, four years later they have to save the democracy again, from an election. They’re trying to use the same shit, but this time we know that the Dems were even worse and added a genocide to their carbon copy of Trump’s policies.
They are going to support genocidaires because Trump Bad. This is what comes of lesser evillism. At first they say they have to support 99% Hitler because it’ll be worse than 100% Hitler. But then, something weird happens, they’ll bend over backwards to defend 99% Hitler, from all criticism. This level of mass delusion is jaw dropping.
