I don’t smoke so I couldn’t be much help on such a question, best I’d suggest is that when you’re trying to cut back you aught find a healthy, productive, or enjoyably distracting to do whenever you feel the urge to vape and slowly work on making it a habit that replaces vaping

I hate to admit it but that 2 week T break I took was so fulfilling. I learned a lot about my habits and made some adjustments now so I can have a healthier relationship with the devils lettuce. Even if it’s 5 days or 1 day, a T break can teach you a lot. Also what helped my break was knowing it wasn’t forever, so there was something to look forward to at the end of it : ).

I really struggle to take t breaks, since I sadly rely on it quite a lot for my day to day emotional regulation, but I’ve had great success reducing my tolerance by switching to edibles. Due to the edible high taking a couple hours to come in, it doesn’t fullfil that addictive need for instant gratification as much, which stops me from using it during anxiety flare-ups and other stressful situations. Additionally, the edible high can last for hours and feel quite intense compared to a smoking high, so I tend to become naturally more careful with my dosage to avoid being completely knocked out for half a day. Over the course of a couple of weeks my usage tends to reduce by at least half. I also keep a little graph I update every day with my usage, which motivates me to make the line trend downwards.

The biggest downside is that if you aren’t able to buy pre-made edibles, infusing butter from the flower is an hours long process that is super exhausting (at least to me as a disabled person), so I tend to slip back into smoking once my current batch runs out. Also it won’t help much with the oral fixation part of it, so you might have to find a way to deal with that part as well.
