My 9-year-old son blames every single loss on a biased referee. Every weekend he complains about how the ref was so biased. Apparently the USA have the same maturity level.
I struggle to care about US soccer, but at this point it’s hard not to blame the coaching. Unlike US teams of years past, all the talent you need to progress in tournaments is there. Sure, an individual red card against Panama is a blow, but it’s still not a good excuse for crashing out against Panama followed by a tepid performance against Uruguay.
They aren’t the worst team. They move the ball around well. What they lack is a point-man, a finisher.

Panama-US looks like it was good game from the highlights, I’ve been missing out on the copa america games but think I’ll check the knockout rounds later this week, the euros have kinda gone downhill after the group stages actually, too many players are tired or just not into it (also maybe some of the national team coaches are sus)
