Sometimes truth is shallower than fiction
The shit that’s going on the real world would be considered too on the nose, shallow, nonsensical, or otherwise stupid by most world builders.
I guess it could be used in many different ways, but when I read it I thought of it in the context of a homebrew campaign’s lore (maybe ttrpg memes have corrupted my mind?)
