I mean you could, but my question is this: when was the last time a major studio made an on rails shooter game? I submit that because the genre pretty much only exists in the indie space that a major release in that genre would feel totally fresh and new even if it was just an updated version of Star Fox 64 with more levels (which is also pretty much exactly what Star Fox fans want that Nintendo refuses to make).
