Description: Has man really been to the moon? It’s been 50 years, and the debate rages on. For the firs time, a film compiles in a single piece of work, all the best evidence in favor of the moon landings and the evidence contrary to them. For the first time we can also analyze the Apollo pictures in detail, with the aid of some among the top photographers in the world. What was the Apollo project really? The biggest achievement in the history of mankind, or the biggest fakery of all times, watched on live television by more than half a billion people?

Disclaimer: I don’t actually buy into the “Moon landing hoax” conspiracy, but this movie is interesting because it approaches the issue from the angle of “American propaganda promised the Moon, but they couldn’t achieve it, so they faked it”. In the beginning the documentary says the “Moon race” was actually a one-sided race and that the Soviet Union didn’t even attempt to send a man to the Moon. There’s also an audio recording of Kennedy telling James Webb that sending a man to the Moon is a “stunt” and it’s not worth the billions, when the same knowledge about the Moon can be gathered “with instruments”.

The documentary does not paint a nice picture of the US and it’s an interesting look into the Moon landing (hoax or not).
