They claim their transmisogyny is actually misandry even though it really isn’t, and the reason challenging that “misandry” is important, rather than just telling them to stop being transphobic, is because it’s actually a form of deterministic gender-essentialist misandry (which also only affects trans people because cis men do not need to care about having support from the feminist movement) which manifests as transphobia (and transmisogyny most often) and without a proper ideological base to dismiss such concepts they’ll keep popping up
