Vivaldi is the first browser to have its own Mastodon instance, Vivaldi Social. Now it is the first to integrate Mastodon into its desktop version.

    Since I’m into the fediverse I was quick to check it out earlier today. It’s a web interface in a sidebar, I already have that in Firefox. I was hoping for something a bit more built-in.

      It’s build in in Vivaldi’s own server. You log in with your Vivaldi account. it’s not the same. Everyone can add a Mastodon instance in a sidebar (for a sidebar in FF you need an extension), but AFAIK no other browser offers a own instance by default for the user, ready to use.
