I only dislike them, because it’s sends miserable old guys to my job. The upside is that we charge them $230, almost as a a stupid tax, to remove any malicious programs the person downloaded.
Most of the time it’s just this full screen popup that yells at the customer, and I have to explain, “Not a virus, it’s just an annoying popup” for the umpteenth time.
