If pixel ever did that, I’d pick one up pretty quickly. Or even iPhone, I just don’t want to need a computer and phone when the phone is more than powerful enough for my usage.

I think they have been reluctant to have a full desktop mode as most users will not understand why they need the App Store on a “desktop”. Now that side loading is being forced on them, I hope they bring this to the phones which will kickstart phones as computers. Anyway, my iPhone 15 will be the last phone I have that doesn’t have a desktop mode. I’ll hold out for a long time.
