Yeah i took a “Medical Ethics” class in high school where we talked about MAID. We watched a documentary and they had examples of people (i think in Oregon?) who would only get covered for end-of-life /palliative care by their insurance, instead of covering the more expensive treatment that offered a slim chance of survival. It’s fucking disgusting. Im all for MAID, but not under capitalism.
The problem is they are pushing MAID onto the poor instead of treating them, or doing anything about poverty
