According to Statcounter, which should be taken with a pinch of salt of course like any sampling, the Linux share on the desktop hit nearly 4% in Decemeber 2023.
Would be so surreal to start seeing commercials for Linux (as a desktop), OEM machines being sold w/ Linux at big stores and so on.
It’s been like 30 years of Windows being the majority at this point and it just keeps getting buggier and more user hostile every year, a paradigm shift is very much needed IMO.
