The problem with Covington is that you can see the doubt written on his face. It’s a part that requires confidence if nothing else—and the eyes don’t lie. This dude is constantly shook, afraid he’s going to get his lines wrong, afraid he’s going to get his ass beat at a Miami steak house, afraid he’s going to die alone.

bruh

I couldn’t agree more with that story. Colby is a wannabe WWF fighter without a good script or staged fights that allow his character to “win”

Hopefully we’re done with the Colby conversation unless he wins 3-4 straight against top contenders and earns his place. But I doubt he’ll shut his mouth…so, hopefully we’re just done with the Colby conversation altogether

Was this dude ever any good? Seems like his entire existence is intended to rile up a problematic demographic within an already problematic fanbase.

I have little more than contempt for the dude, but yes, I thought he was quite good just a couple years ago. Able to put a relentless, Diaz-like pace on his opponents, beating several top-5/top-10 fighters, and giving the then-champ Usman all he could handle, twice.

I don’t know why his incredible gas tank suddenly dried up the other night. Maybe behind the scenes, drug-testing started getting more strict about something he was taking, and he was forced to get off it, not unlike what happened to Jonny Hendricks a few years earlier.

That said, I’ll be thrilled never to see this complete asshat ever again.
