    that’s interesting - generally, partial collapses happen when there’s insufficient structural support - generally in newer construction when they try to cut corners/save money, but this is an older building. I wonder what changed?

      The article says some work had been done recently, etc. It doesn’t say whether it’s related or not, but I’m sure they’ll figure it out.
