They made Poets of the Fall chop down Herald of Darkness to like 4 minutes, barely gave Chris Judge and Neil Newbon as much as a minute or two worth of speech before audio-cueing them off the stage; and speed-ran a bunch of award winners to pack the show with actor cameos, an extended say-nothing from Hideo Kojima, and what felt like an hour’s worth of non-debut-related ad roll
Even for the announces that I’m genuinely cheesed over, if not for watching that with my partners and taking the piss out of it like a YMS party, this would’ve been the most egregious waste of 3 hours I sat through all year
So many people got did so dirty for what? Matt McGringo and Hideo Kojima getting to run their mouths for 15 minutes a pop?
Going to need more context. I just liked that part of Alan Wake 2 and thought it was pretty ballsy to have a 20-minute long FMV musical level.

Gotcha, was unclear if you were talking about the game or the Game Awards. Obviously, I think the Game Awards is trash overall.
