The first published evidence from humans that semaglutide specifically reduces the symptoms of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) has been published in The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry.

    So, more off label usage of semaglutide is inevitable. There have already been recent shortages. I have a family member that couldn’t get their prescription because there was none available. We need more drug companies making the stuff and competing in a fair market.
