What could Biden possibly do that wouldn’t “rankle” House Republicans?

Major wars are just completely obsolete as a tool for advancing national interests. America already bombed Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan and accomplished basically nothing positive. What national interest do they think bombing the larger, more populous, and more capable country between those places will serve?
I don’t even know what their goal is. Like, are they trying to create a contiguous terrorist training ground from Damascus to Kabul?
