There is not a single source for any of these outlandish claims. Just a person making stuff up to get upvotes on reddit, and others upvoting it because it supports their preconceptions. That which is presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. We do not assert that the Koreans’ biological constitution is more developed than those of other races. Defining the superiority of a nation according to biological or ethnic characteristics is the practice of reactionary, bourgeois ethnology. Arguing that national characteristics are defined by racial characteristics, bourgeois ethnologists classify people according to skin colours, namely white people as a “higher race" and coloured people as a “lower race”. They say that only a “higher race” can create advanced civilization. The reactionary ethnological doctrine has been used by imperialists as an ideological instrument for their policy of racial discrimination and obliteration of nations. Imperialists still use the bourgeois ethnological doctrine as an instrument to justify their domination over other nations, to spread national nihilism, the idea of subservience to great powers and the idea of dependence on foreign forces among the people of colonial, dependent countries and the people of the third world, and to obstruct their national independence and independent development. Fundamentally speaking, there can be no “higher race" or “lower race”. All the races are endowed with creative intelligence and ability. The low level of civilization of nations under colonial subjugation in the past is not due to any inborn inability, but is the consequence of the imperialists’ predatory policy and their policy of keeping colonial people in ignorance. The people of the third world, who were despised by the imperialists as a “lower race”, have now become the masters of their destiny, are making brilliant successes in the creation of a new life and are steadily raising the level of their civilization.

Interested to hear other’s takes, but one example that at the very least questions the claims that interracial marriage were highly stigmatized was the story of James Dresnok, an American who defected to the DPRK during the Korean War.Not only did he live in the DPRK, he married a Korean woman who herself was the daughter of a Korean woman and a Togolese diplomat. This provides us with at least two cases that demonstrate not all interracial relationships were seen as “crimes against the nation” as the commenter claimed.
The whole Minjok concept is interesting to me, but I don’t have a strong enough background on it to adequately comment, but I will say that in the case of colonized/colonizer/imperialist relationship that the US has with the South, military occupation and mass immigration and thus an inevitable watering down of the historic bonds between the separated ethnically Korean populations would be an effective way to minimize the pressure for unification based around a shared history and national experience.
If we look at it in this frame of a foreign neo-colonial or imperialist force invading a country with a fairly ethnically homogenous population, and then through capitalist reforms creating an economic need for mass immigration, you can see how (stepping aside from all the very real benefits of multiculturalism as a whole), in this specific framework, a less ethnically and culturally homogenous South is less likely to seek and fight for reunification and the removal of this parasitic imperialist force based around their Korean identity and a shared cultural and historic experience they hold with the citizens of the DPRK.
Of course, this is not the only reason why citizens of the ROK would want reunification, but in my outsider opinion, would likely be one of the more significant forces pushing towards that outcome.
Also, the US and ROK government get to frame this as a nice liberal multicultural policy when in fact it can be seen as a counter-revolutionary policy in the larger context.
In regard to the other claims, some of them are fairly ridiculous like the vague comparisons of personality cults and the celebration of birthdays, but I am interested to read more about the claims Kim Il Sung was not the true theorist who developed Juche.
Finally, the DPRK has a long history of supporting anti-imperialist struggles, especially in Africa but in the developing world in general, which is obviously not something a fascist, race obsessed society would do.
Also I don’t know how anyone (well I can now realizing the comment or is a anarcho-libertarian ) cannot understand the difference in anti-colonial/imperialist nationalism (DPRK) and colonialist/fascist-adjacent nationalism (Imperial Japan).

IMO, on the path towards global communism, socialist multicultural nations will play an important role as hubs of internationalist thought and cooperation between socialist states that are made up of more ethnically homogeneous populations.

I don’t have time to address this entire shitshow of a post, but I will address songbunWhat author describes as a blood based caste system, is actually an ideological/political classification which essentially looks out for anti-communists. There are many classifications but the main categories are: core, wavering, and hostile. The importance of this classification is extremely overstated. According to some shitlib from the CATO Institute “[The system] identifies, assesses, categorizes, and politically stratifies each North Korean resident as a political asset or liability to the socialist revolution and the regime in general.” While it does take into account family ties, it is really based on behavior. Not saying I’m a fan of it, but compare it to the Hindu caste system or western racial castes and it doesn’t look so bad.
man is master of all things
This is a mischaraterization. The juche idea that humanity can be master of their destiny, is in fact implicit in all socialism- that humanity must no longer be subordinate to the anarchy of capitalist production and can instead purposefully shape society for the benefit of all. Even the bourgeoisie are subordinate to the God of capital and the necessity of ever increasing profits and expansion. This need not be the case.
the regimes justification…
This has nothing to do with racial purity. South Korea is in fact a yankee colony. It is not a sovereign state. It was created and has been propped up by the United States since its inception, and its military is under operational control of the US Military. The US has done everything possible to ensure the prosperity of the South, while simultaneously doing the exact opposite for the North.
