The NHL has banned Pride Tape and Pride jerseys, in addition to issuing a disaster memo about LGBTQ and other initiatives. Hockey is not for everyone.

The NHL further cementing its reputation as the least LGBTQ friendly major professional sports league after a whopping seven players didn’t want to wear optional pride jerseys during warmups last season. Literally rolling over to keep a handful of bigots happy. Disgusting.

    Sounds like some of the Russian players were scared of reprisals (or at least said as much).

    This isn’t the direction I would have taken in response, though.
