        I forgot that’s happening, I really wonder what the nfl’s long term plans are with these international games

          They want to put a division in Europe. The NFL has been talking about it since the 80s. Just it has taken them this long to get enough interest in two cities. I’ve been saying the Europe dream of the NFL is going to be the money pit problem that knocks them down a peg.

            I have a hard time seeing how that’d work with the time zones but on the other hand the NFL is full of hubris

            The cities/countries they choose to play in are also countries with large US expat and/or military populations, which is really likely fueling the interest, and let’s be real, it’s likely mainly due to the military.
