Unless I missed some news today, aren’t the current rumors saying that Lance might be out next year? Although those are just based on his attitude this weekend and the fact that Aston Martin has announced that they’ll compete in Hypercar in the WEC.

There are a few rumors / speculations. One is that Lance is throwing the towel, possibly becoming a tennis player or going to WEC/IMSA. Another is that Lawrence is possibly selling the entire team to Aramco. Btw, there were a few strange deals around the Aston Martin road car company. Lawrence apparently sold a big chunk to Geely.
Edit:
- Aston Martin to raise £653mn as Saudi Arabia becomes major shareholder (2022, initially rejecting Geely)
- Aston Martin stock soars as China’s Geely to become no.3 shareholder (2023)
I doubt papa Stroll would finance anything if his son loses his seat. I mean, why would he?
Why does anyone finance a racing team? Papa Stroll is an enormous motorsports fan, I can see him still financing F1 and trying to win a championship while moving Lance to the WEC.
