Not related to this in particular but it crosses my mind. Do people that make pixel art render it on a cathodic screen (or emulator) to see how it would be? Or it’s more for modern pixel art style with precise pixel rendering
I think most don’t try to emulate CRT-style pixel art since that’s not how end-users would see it. I guess you could slap filters to emulate it directly onto the image itself, but for the most part I see people release the clean/precise pixel art without any filters on the image.
