      You can’t open the Model S rear doors from the inside if the car isn’t running, either. Everything else aside, when I heard that I knew I would never buy a Tesla. That is a horrifyingly stupid design decision.

        There’s just sooo many of them. Talking to Tesla owners is like talking to somebody in a cult.

        “So what if you need to go through 3 menu items on a touch screen to turn on the windshield wipers manually - you rarely have to do that because they’re automatic!”

        It’s like they don’t realize that the car is solving problems nobody had…

          They tell people to use the voice control. Personally I absolutely hate using voice controls on anything… it’s bad enough to be forced to use menus like that when I call my bank or whatever.

            Oh, shit you’re right - they do. Like I want to be friggin’ yelling at my car when going through a drive-thru to stop the wipers… And here I’ve been just flicking a small switch like a chump!

      They might have fixed this by now, but the glovebox door also had a bonus feature of breaking if you opened it too many times.
