CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) – A former Michigan priest arrested by authorities who posed as a 15-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr has been convicted.

Aaron Nowicki, 49, was convicted of child sexually abusive activity on Thursday, according to a news release from Chippewa County Prosecutor Robert L. Stratton.

A sentencing date for Nowicki has not yet been scheduled.

      it doesn’t allow it, it expressly forbids under 18s from signing up.

      this guy probably set his age at 18 and then edited his profile text.

      it’s hard to hold apps accountable for people lying. if you had to, no one would post on the internet- most of it is lies!

      The authorities posed as a 15 year old boy. Confusing first sentence but read it again. Maybe read the whole article (it’s about 20 sentences).

      Upper Peninsula law enforcement agencies in an undercover operation posing as a 15-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr.

      So they did a sting pretending to be a teenage boy and this guy and other people tried to go molest him. Basically a Chris Hansen operation.

      And there shouldn’t be.

      The last thing the world needs is everyone sending their drivers listen or other identification over to an American company to verify our age.
