And I hate their blue-rich eye searing headlights to.

Subaru is great for their AWD system. The AWD will help you go, winter tires will help you stop and maintain control.

If you’re not in the market for a new car, try just getting the winter tires and see the difference it makes.

I had an Subaru Impreza for a about a decade and with winter tires I never even got close to getting stuck. No matter how bad it got I felt like I was driving on normal pavement. It was amazing.

I spent about 5 years after that with a front wheel drive car, and still got snow tires. There was one day where I made it through, but barely. It took me several minutes of weaving all over the road to get down a street and to the plowed road. I made it, but it was stressful and I was lucky there were no other cars parked on the street on driving around me, as I needed the space. Usually it was fine, but I missed the AWD enough to get another Subaru.
