the discordant guitar line in this song hooked me the first time i heard it; the guitar playing of John McGeoch (previously in Magazine) is very similar to Keith Levene of Public Image Ltd. sounding like a “wail of the banshee”; interesting McGeoch actually “replaced” Levene in Public Image Ltd. in 1986
