      I was referring to one of the common refrains I remember from the infamous Outdoor Cats Struggle Session, where Britons would argue that there aren’t any wild animals on their island(s) that suffer from predation by domestic cats.

        it is also worth noting that wildcats are native to the UK as predators of ground birds and wildcats are so similar to domestic pet cats that they are at risk of extinction via interbreeding in much the same way that neanderthals were just absorbed into the homo sapien population

        just to confuse the issue with meaningless nuance
