Public transportation is the main for actual travels. For everything close or in or around the city I take a regular old non electric ‘grandma’ bike.

My main is my bicycle (non-electric). It’s an upright style with chain etc. enclosed and a rear rack, ideal for my use case of trips into the city, shopping runs, and general exploration. I carry straps just in case I buy something bulky that needs to be secured to the rear rack.

Backup is public transportation, wish it was cheaper though… The new air conditioned electric buses are nice, especially the chinese Yutongs with vinyl wood flooring and dark grey interior cladding.

Last resort for me is a taxi

    1. Bike for getting around the city and to the station
    2. Feet for common errands and fresh air
    3. Train 2 days a week commuting + misc city visits
    4. Metro in terrible weather
    5. Cargo bike and car rentals a few times a year

Normally I ride my ebike or my hybrid bike, but sometimes I still drive a sedan or walk. Once in a while I’ll skateboard, but that was more when I was younger. Otherwise, rideshares.

I pretty much ride my ENGWE EP 2 Pro or my Trek 820 unless I have to carry more than the weight limit or bring people with me and they aren’t up for a bike ride (then I’d drive a car or rent a truck/van I guess or just have it/us delivered lol).

Not sure I really have a primary means of transportation. Depends completely on the destination, how much time I have, weather, my mood, etc. Probably walk most often, then bike, then drive but not a huge gap between any of those. Transit would be a distant 4th because unfortunately it’s not very viable in my area and biking is basically always faster, more pleasant, and more convenient.
