Apparently SOPHIE died, RIP to a real one
I can’t process this. SOPHIE was it. She was such a promising artist. Fuck this is so sad.
Honestly not an exaggeration to say she was one of the most influential musical artists of the last decade.
Oil of Every Pearls Un-Insides was an incredible record, to think of the brilliant shit she would have probably gone on to make is heartbreaking :(

yo I just found about her in a thread here like two days ago. Wtf happened? All I can find are twitter threads and her wikipedia page hasn’t updated yet
All they said was she died “due to a sudden accident”, apparently.
In the official press release it says she climbed up to see the moon, then tripped and fell. It’s worded very crassly, almost reads like a joke, the banality of it is insane.
