    With damaged MacBooks you don’t even have to remove the display. Just connect an external keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Probably true of most laptops actually.

    Removing the display just seems like more trouble than it’s worth.

      On the flip side, as pointed out in the video, removing the display gives you access to the keyboard (with Touch ID), trackpad, and decent quality speakers in a much cleaner footprint. And it’s really not that difficult to do.
