I don’t think it’s going to change anything. Microsoft has been releasing windows every 3 years for a while.

1992 - windows 3.11

1995 - windows 95

1998 - windows 98

2001 - windows XP

2006 - windows Vista (bigger gap due to vista’s development being reset due to feature creep)

2009 - windows 7

2012 - windows 8

2015 - windows 10

2021 - windows 11
