I think they might just give you a copy. I’m really not sure, I’ve seen various posts about people reaching out and receiving one.

It’s like Mormons handing out their book of Mormon to people.

Except idk if the Mormons do that anymore. I had some come to my door once and they didn’t want to give me a physical book and told me its available online. Like c’mon you interrupt my evening to proselytize and you don’t even give me the funny book.

Ok, that’s pretty amazing. Thanks for the info. I’ll be sure to give it a try when I come back.

I got a new testament that way from some Gideonites (?). They came outside of my university (extremely leftist and atheist) and gave them out to anyone who wanted one.

The Gideons are also the ones that used to make sure there was a bible in every hotel room. I’m not sure when they stopped because I haven’t seen a bible in a hotel in a few years.

If you ever stay in a hotel in Rochester, NY, you’ll also find a book of Mormon next to it. The Mormons got their start up there a bit east of the city around where Pittsford is now iirc.

I know man. A friend got one when he went to see the book of mormon musical and I got excited to get a book.

It was weird though, it was night time and it was just two teenage girls going door to door.
