I came out to my mom last week and she’s told me she’s been “watching Jordan Peterson videos to help her understand what’s going on with me.” When I told her that I though he doesn’t like trans people, she said “he doesn’t dislike them, he just has a certain view of them.”

I went and watched some of his videos on trans people and yeah it’s just as awful as I expected. Obviously, this seems bad for me. Does anyone have experience or resources for de-lobster-izing boomer parents? Or just for helping boomer moms understand trans people, but from a supportive perspective?
