"Why is my human slave not moving my stuff to different rooms according to my set schedule? Why do I, a god, have to do it myself? Bastet, take note of this great insubordination! "
The screaming could also mean:
“I have been up all night watching these babies and I am exhausted! Not one of them was hungry! I need some me time with my face in the catnip plant. Someone watch them while I’m passed out… and no more catnip for the babies! They all still smell like catnip from the last time you looked after them.”
Churlish!
I have a friend who is a college professor. He said that he has on more than one occasion called his class churlish.
She wants to have babies. Cat mothers carry their offspring around.
In a “I’m horny” way or in a “I’m suffering” way?
Is there a difference?
Probably in more of a “Everything I’m evolved for tells me that I should have babies but I don’t” way.
Probably her motherly instincts just kick in. So toys are babies. The cat is probably sterilized.

She thinks of the toys as her babies. Do they squeak? That can often trigger that reaction from female cats.

X post by Zack Morrison @paranaturalzack: every morning our cat moves her toys from the bedroom to the living room while screaming, and every night she moves them back, also while screaming. i don’t know the purpose of the ritual but it is the central pillar of my faith.

Cat-haul-icism?
Caterwaul-icism?
Some flavor of meownotheism, yes
@Facelikeapotato horniness makes the cat goes weird.
I hear that. Cat works in mysterious ways.
Upvote for the title. Also, cats!
I’m not religious… But this may change my mind……
My dog has a similar ritual where he patiently watches me put all the toys away then one by one retrieves them and makes me play with it.
I’m not sure of the purpose of this ritual but it is the central pillar of my rapidly developing mental breakdown.
