    While it may be true it’s not really a fair comparison because the more developed a country is the more unrealistic large growth becomes. It’s impossible and ridiculous to pretend the US could grow 20%. China on the other hand has more scope to allow for growth.

      To be a little more clear about the headline and reason for posting, this is a response to news articles and headlines talking about how China will collapse any day now, which has become somewhat of a joke on this instance. They clearly aren’t collapsing and are continuing to grow faster than any other industrialized nation (afaik). Not only that, but they will also soon take the largest GDP spot from the US and will continue to dominate the global economy more and more. The image just makes those arguments that China is doomed even more absurd in comparison to reality.

        They already have the largest GDP by purchasing power parity.
