The guy behind Trucker Dashcam // Sweden is one of the nicest truckers I’ve ever heard of. He mainly does dashcam compilations nowadays, and includes videos from friends and subscibers as well.

Why do people feel the need to breakcheck anyone? And trucks at that, like they couldn’t just keep going or just be unable to slow down enough and hit these idiots…
Good question. But at least he used his blinkers, that is virtually never with the case with BMW or Audi drivers.
Very true. That shows that there’s something seriously wrong with them, or they’re just borrowing the car and not driving that brand usually
And why check for breaks? I mean, brake checking, sure, gotta make sure your brakes work, but taking breaks involves getting off the road and pulling over.
I break check people when they’re on my ass and I will be breaking soon. Because if I start actually breaking I will definitely be in a wreck.
Don’t brake check, just glide. Brake checking is more likely to cause an accident. Just naturally slowing down won’t.
Plus it really pisses them off.
I don’t brake check people, but I do flash my brake lights a few times if someone is tailgating me. That generally makes people realise “oops, sorry, I was too close”. If they ignore that I slowly turn the cruise control down until they’d rather switch lanes and zip off. Funny how I’m only tailgated when there is plenty of space in the passing lane to the left of me.
The brake checks that the assholes do are when they actually brake to have near-collision vicinity to trigger collision warnings/autobrakes on trucks and busses, or to really rile another car driver up/collect insurance. But they forget that many people nowadays have dashcams (thank you Russian insurance companies!).
I do that as well, though people usually don’t realize what I’m trying to convey to them. Then I just start driving the speed limit exactly, and if that doesn’t help, I go down by around 10kmh and maybe more if necessary
I wish I had dashcam footage of the luxury Audi who was repeatedly brake checking buses and trucks on a major highway, swerving in front of them and forcing them all to come to complete stops before dashing away and repeating it with the next big vehicle. But that’s Södertälje (municipality south of Stockholm) for you.
I think the blinker was photoshopped in.
I’d put money on that driver’s family being in the car with them.
