My biggest complaints have to be about my pain. I got struck by a pickup truck off my bicycle last September. He broke my ribs, my foot and my hip. The accident put me in a wheel chair for the rest of the year and only starting late winter/early spring did I start move around and walk again.
Each day the pain level goes down a bit more but it’s been so long that everything aches, I wonder if it will ever stop? Will I ever wake up again pain free? Will I ever live another day without rubbing my hip or feeling the weather in my bones?
Despite all of this, I refuse to give up. I will get back on a bicycle one day. Once I am ready, I plan to ride it all the way to work like I was supposed to that morning.
Man I feel ya… I got hit by a motorcycle in july last year and can’t use my left hand since then. It’s less bad than being in a wheelchair, but the pain caused by someone else is just godawful…
I’m pretty sure it’ll heal in time though. The body do be like that
